Water Access To All (WATA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to addressing water inequality and community development.
We provide clean drinking water to underserved communities by setting up durable, portable water filtration systems. Additionally we teach English, build infrastructure, and address other basic needs.
Where does WATA operate?
WATA currently operates in Vietnam, Myanmar, and Guatemala. We aim to expand our reach to other regions, including Southeast Asia (Laos, Cambodia), Central and South America (Peru, Chile, Panama), and Africa (Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania).
How many filters has WATA distributed so far?
In 2024 alone, we distributed over 300 filters, directly impacting thousands of lives across three countries.
Who does WATA serve?
Our focus is on communities facing water scarcity, including families, schools, orphanages, and remote villages. We partner with local organizations to create sustainable programs tailored to each community’s needs.
What is WATA’s mission?
At Water Access To All (WATA), we believe access to clean water is a human right. Our mission is to provide sustainable, life-changing solutions to communities in need by distributing water filtration systems and empowering local networks through education and partnerships.
By addressing the immediate need for clean water and encouraging long-term community engagement, we aim to improve health, reduce environmental waste, and create opportunities for a healthier future. Our work goes beyond just water, connecting with communities through collaborative efforts, cultural exchange, and shared passions like surfing, photography, art, and adventure. Together, we’re building a global movement to ensure every individual has access to clean, safe drinking water.
Why does WATA stand out?

Collaboration for Greater Impact: WATA actively collaborates with local organizations, nonprofits, and community leaders to maximize reach and create sustainable programs. By working together, we leverage collective strengths to make a larger, lasting difference.
Empowering Local Networks: We don’t just provide resources, we equip communities with the knowledge and tools to maintain and expand access to clean water.
Global Reach with a Personal Touch: From Guatemala to Vietnam and Myanmar, we work on tailoring our efforts to the unique needs of each community, fostering meaningful connections and adapting to cultural contexts.
Transparency and Dedication: 100% of funds raised go directly to supporting projects and creating Water Filter Trips.
Blending Passion with Purpose: Through partnerships, film photography, surfing, and storytelling, we create a unique narrative that we hope inspires others to join the mission and drive meaningful change where they can.
Contributions to this fund go directly towards the mission: providing water filters, funding trips, and expanding our programs to reach more communities. Every dollar makes a difference!
Buckets are an essential part of our filtration system. For just $5, you can provide a family with the means to use their Sawyer filter effectively. Help us ensure that every filter has a bucket to go with it.
Our ambassadors like Emily and Shawnee are cycling across Asia, setting up filters and spreading awareness about the water crisis. Your donation supports their efforts and helps them provide more water filters and buckets.
