I Heart Africa Nonprofit
Before reading about the nonprofit below, understand that Electric Elements is still in the early stages of being a business. We realize that in order to scale and provide more support, we need to limit our donations to reinvest profits in our company.
We have a big vision to gain the power to significantly support the mission of the organization below.
It is up to you to believe in our intentions, but as of currently the nonprofit is here for your awareness. We strongly suggest that you go directly to the links to donate, and with hopes that you do purchase our products, understand that donations are being shared cautiously so that we can become a stronger entity to provide greater support in the future.
The primary nonprofit that we wish to support is iheartafrica.org
I Heart Africa is committed to creating sustainable long term futures for children and families in crisis in the Eastern Congo, not short term aid.
They are currently the only organization who is taking this deep approach, and although it means they reach a smaller group, their impact is life changing.
The Republic of Congo is an area rich in minerals, crucial to most all major electronic devices being used in the world today (iPhones, computers, cars, etc). The area has been exploited for decades with armed forces and rebel forces attacking villages in order to exploit these minerals. This exploitation is funded by invested countries and companies.
Our desire to support I Heart Africa comes from the influence of one of the founders, Chaka Zulu, who was our gateway to sea moss. We discovered Chaka and his store, Fruits N Rootz, through Instagram where he was promoting sea moss and Dr. Sebi's teachings on an alkaline lifestyle for optimum health and healing. Fruits N Rootz was using its profits to not only help provide quality tropical fruits to people but also donate to orphanages in Africa.
One of the reasons Electric Elements was started was because Fruits N Rootz had stopped providing its products. Possibly because the founder's mission has shifted to fully supporting the crisis in the Congo. It is our intention to follow the model of Fruits N Rootz to bring quality nutrition to anyone and honor the mission behind the person that first brought the extraordinary power of sea moss to our attention.
